Mr. H. M. Haithami A is a senior executive, strategic advisor, and accomplished leader in mega-project management, bringing more than 23 years of experience across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) as well as Operations & Maintenance within the energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, construction, and industrial sectors.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Operations, Director of Joint Operating Bodies (KSO), and Principal Expert. In these capacities, he has played a pivotal role in leading nationally strategic mega-projects, driving business transformation initiatives, and managing diverse stakeholder interests across Indonesia’s energy and industrial landscape.

Recognized for his strategic leadership, commercial acumen, and ability to navigate complex business environments, Mr. Haithami has consistently delivered sustainable value through operational excellence, strengthened corporate governance, and effective risk management. As part of the leadership team within an operations division of a subsidiary under the Pertamina Group, he was actively involved in transforming a business unit that had experienced four consecutive years of losses into a profitable operation. Under his leadership, the division achieved significant growth in revenue and profitability, exceeded corporate targets, and established a long-term strategic roadmap extending through 2030, demonstrating his ability to create business value and lead cross-functional collaboration in highly complex environments.

His expertise encompasses project governance, contract strategy, commercial negotiations, procurement, risk oversight, stakeholder management, and executive decision-making. Having led projects and business initiatives valued at hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars, he brings a rare combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and commercial insight. His professional experience also extends to corporate governance, employment matters, and EPC contract structuring and negotiation.
